Creating Professional Quotes

Step by step

   Start a new quote

   From Quotes, hit New quote and pick the client — their details pre-fill, and the quote number is automatic.

   Set how long it's valid

   Choose Net 7, 14, 30 or 60 days, or set a custom expiry date. Expired quotes are flagged so you know to follow up.

3. 3

   Title and describe the work

   A clear title and scope description means fewer questions and faster approvals.

4. 4

   Add items and pricing

   Line up each item with quantity and unit price. GST is per-line and defaults on if you're GST registered — subtotal, GST and total calculate live.

5. 5

   Create as draft

   The quote saves as a draft, ready to review and send when you are.
